Reverend Jim Latimer

Jim has a special place in his heart for the work of interim ministry and his colleagues that serve in that niche. In his eighteen years of ordained ministry, he has served two settled pastorates and four interims, in New England, the Midwest and the West Coast.

Jim is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. He has been coaching ministry leaders and teams for many years around vitality, ministry effectiveness, governance and leadership development, including eight years as an Affiliate Coach with Convergence, formerly the Center for Progressive Renewal. He also teaches coaching skills to ministry leaders and is a former faculty member with Coaching4Clergy. As both a settled and transitional interim minister, he has served UCC congregations in CA, PA, OH, and CT.

He earned a Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA, and a Doctor of Ministry from Hartford Seminary.
