Lynn Carman Bodden is an Intentional Interim Minister, who after one settled pastorate has served twenty transitional ministries. Ordained in the United Church of Christ, Lynn has been fortunate to serve congregations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, North Carolina and Connecticut, which identify as UCC, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Presbyterian (PCUSA), Quaker (FUM) and Reformed Church in America. Trained in Cazenovia, NY, in 1993-94 by the Interim Ministry Network, Lynn has been a member of the IMN faculty since 2003 and has served as a member of the IMN Board of Directors (1995-2001, 2018-2021). She has applied both her consultant and coaching training from the Center for Congregational Health in local congregations and with clergy colleagues. She lives in Schenectady with her husband, the Rev. Peter JB Carman (ABCUSA). She is grateful to participate in the interfaith work of Schenectady Clergy Against Hate. Both of Lynn’s sons and both daughters-in-law are educators in city settings; her granddaughter is a toddler.
